Max Klinger's a glove series

This drawing is in the series "A glove", a series of etching with pen and ink in 1881. This specific piece entitled "Action". It took place in the late afternoon at an ice skating ring next to a forest. A man in the foreground is picking up a glove on the ground while a women in front of him is skating away from the viewers. In front of the women is three other people, 2 man skating with a women in the middle. The artist get his inspiration to do this series after picked up a glove from an attractive women, and from then on, he kept the glove and fantasizing about the women.
