Week 10

Word of the week:
Misnomer (noun)
1.The misnaming of a person in a legal instrument, as in a complaint or indictment.
2.Any misnaming of a person or thing; also, a wrong or inapplicable name or designation

This week I want to talk about an illustration entitles "Golden Head by Golden Heada", illustration for Christina Rossetti’s Goblin Market and Other Poems (1862). This is a woodblock print. The line designs of this piece is so beautiful. There are so much tension in the hands but the facial expression is calm. The way their head tiled give so much emotions to the piece. It makes me want to be in place of the girl who sleep so peacefully in her man's arms. Above to the lefts are the illustration of their dreams, which is bright and spirited.
